Serves: 36-40 potstickers
Ingredients
  • 12 ounces of ground pork (you can use chicken and turkey if you are keeping it light)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper (white pepper is even better)
  • 1 TBS rice cooking wine
  • 1 TBS corn starch
  • 4 green onions chopped
  • 2-3 small bok choy chopped (you can also use napa cabbage)
  • 2-3 TBS cilantro (optional)
  • 2-3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2-3 tsp ginger minced
  • 1 TBS oyster sauce
  • 1 TBS light soy sauce
  • ½ TBS sesame oil
  • Sesame seeds to sprinkle on top along with some green onions
  • Dumpling wrappers (Use the thin wrappers)
  • Water to seal the edges
  • Cooking oil
Sauce:
  • 1 TBS rice vinegar
  • 4 TBS soy sauce
  • ¼ tsp garlic chili oil
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 green onion
  • sesame seeds
Instructions
  1. Add salt, black pepper, rice cooking wine and cornstarch to the ground pork and mix.
  2. Add minced ginger, minced garlic, chopped baby bokchoy, cilantro and green onions to meat mixture and mix.
  3. Add light soy sauce, oyster sauce and sesame oil to the meat mixture and mix. Set aside.
  4. Open your package of dumpling wrappers and sealed the edges with water.
  5. Add 1 TBS of meat mixture to middle of wrapper and sealed the edges. Make sure there are no air pockets.
  6. Then crimp the edges of the wrapper and set aside.
Sauce:
  1. Mix rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil and garlic chili oil. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. If you want it spicier, add more garlic chili oil.
